Used for a whole range of conditions, both physical and emotional. It is best known for its sedative properties and is often found in many sleep remedies/recipes. It’s useful when supporting stress, anxiety, mood swings and hormonal imbalance together with insomnia and sleep deprivation.

It is such a versatile oil, and is one of the few oils that can be applied neat to the skin. It is antiseptic, immune boosting and pain relieving. A must have oil for any home kit/first aid box.

Often found in skincare for its healing properties and supportive nature for redness and mature skin types.

Being bactericidal makes it great for coughs, bronchitis and sinusitis, blended with Eucalyptus Smithii will also add additional support to the respiratory system.

Having anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties means it’s great for wounds, spots, eczema, psoriasis and burns!

Aromatherapy was born when René-Maurice Gattefossé placed his hand in a vat of Lavender following a chemical burn as that was the only liquid available, thus realizing the skin healing properties of this oil.
